Co-Director, Scarsdale Public Schools, 2021

Designed and developed a summer enrichment program for 330 elementary students that focused on project-based learning. Collaborated with the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction, Co-Directors, Scarsdale Teachers Institute (STI), and the Center for Professional Education of Teachers (CPET) at Teachers College to provide professional development to faculty. Developed web site and online resources for the program. Conducted presentations and online communications to families in the program.

February 2021: Using the Design Thinking approach, facilitated faculty to help problem solve ideas for bringing students back full time during Spring of 2021.

Teacher Study Group

April 2021: Based on our "What can we do with Room 18?" Grant, co-facilitated study group session to help design learning spaces while maintaining safety guidelines during Spring of 2021.

February 2020-July 2021: Worked collaboratively with Paul Tomizawa and the specials teachers to develop this site as a community hub for students and families during remote learning.

October 2020-January 2021: Worked collaboratively with the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction and Curriculum Coordinators to develop online programming for students during half days every Wednesday.

Collaborated with the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction, teacher aides, and volunteers to develop read aloud resources for elementary teachers and students to use during Remote Learning.

November 2020-July 2021: Worked collaboratively with PTA and the multicultural committee to develop cooking site for Edgewood families during remote learning. Facilitated training and coordinated with parents in developing the site.

Collaborated with Principal and faculty to design and pilot a whole school, multi-age, integrated program based on student and teacher topics of interest. Students selected topics offered by teachers for six half days.
